The trip from/to Chengdu will be organised by the Zangdok Palri Insitute {this price isn't include in the 500€}. See registration.

The trip will take 3 or 4 days.

Those who would like to travel on their own are free to do so (be aware that is it not easy to travel alone as no-one speaks any English, so you should use a Chinese phrase book)

The trip back takes 2 days (or 3 days with local buses) - no acclimation needed. As there are frequent problems on the road, it is necessary to leave one day earlier to make sure to be on time to catch our planes.

We will organise a trip back after the inauguration for those who cannot stay longer (which may be with local buses if there are just few peoples and with someone to accompany them). Departure on 12 August, arrival on 14 August 11 PM at the latest (except in case of big trouble on the road).
