It has become obvious that the inauguration of the Zangdok Palri Temple cannot go ahead as planned this year because of the circumstances that you are well aware of. Because of the situation nobody can enter the area.

Probably we will arrange something in Dharma City, Belgium, instead.

Cost of the course

Due to the current price fluctuation in China it has not been possible to offer an all inclusive option for this trip. Moreover because less wealthy students have asked Rinpoche to give them the possibility to join at a lower cost, Rinpoche has decided to set the price for the stay in Dzogchen to 500 euros and rely on the generosity of more wealthy students to cover extra costs. Students must pay their hotel and travel expenses themselves, in this way everyone can choose the level of confort for the trip.

The cost for the stay in Dzogchen is 500 € and it includes :

- costs related to the infrastructure in Dzogchen {toilets, etc}
- food during the stay in Dzogchen {3 August to 17 August}
- costs related to the inauguration
- materials needed for the recording during the teachings.
- the transport from the camping area to the the holy places {before walking to visit the holy places}
- costs connected to the administration and office

it doesn't include :
- hotel in Chengdu. Estimate cost : 30€ per night
- hotels during the journey. Estimate cost : 240€ all together
- meals in Chengdu and during the journey. Estimate cost : 130€
- offerings

The prices are an approximation as it is not easy to know the exact cost. This fluctuation of prices is due to the Olympic games.

Travelling:

For those who want to travel by themselves it is possible to get local buses.
If you want to join the group, we will ask you to pay an advance of 100 euros per trip (200 euros to go and come back). During the traveling, you will have to pay your food and accommodation.
We will organise a trip back after the inauguration (departure 12 August) for those who cannot stay longer (which may be with local buses).

The total cost is estimated at about 1000-1500 euros per person depending on the levels of comfort. Your plane ticket is not included in this cost.

We do not take responsibility, or accept liability, for any damage caused by any participant or by any accompanying non-participant to third parties or to their property. We will pass any claims made against them in relation to such incidents on to the participant or the accompanying non-participant who caused the damage. They will not entertain any claims of whatever kind made against them by the people in question.
We shall not be responsible for any changes or cancellation of programs due to unavoidable circumstances such as road blockade, flood, snow, unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival of students, sickness or accidents, breakdown of vehicles, decisions of Chinese authorities.

Any additional cost incurring due to any of the above shall be borne on the spot by the participant.
