1st option: take a taxi from the Brussels airport to the Retreat Centre.

2d option: take the train from the Brussels airport to Namur or Charleroi, then a bus or a taxi.
There is a train station in the airport on -1.
You can take the train to Namur (you must change in Brussels-North / +- 1h30 in total / 9,10 euros), or you can take the train to Charleroi-Sud (you must change in Brussels-North, +-1h40 in total / 9,70 euros).
At the train station, take a taxi to the Retreat Centre, or a local bus .

From Charleroi airport (also called Brussels-South):

1st option: take a taxi from the Charleroi airport to the Retreat Centre.

2d option: take the bus from the airport to Charleroi-Sud train station, then a bus to Florennes.
Take a bus "Bus A" to the Charleroi train station (1,95 euros in 2007). The bus is at to left when you go out of the airport. The trip takes 11 minutes. There is a bus every hour, the first one leaves at 6 AM and the last one at 10 PM.

From Brussels South, take a train to Charleroi-Sud (45 min) (8 euros in 2007).
Then follow the direction " from Namur Train station ".
From Brussels Noorth, take the train to Namur or Charleroi-Sud (55 min) (7,5 euros in 2007). Then follow the direction " from Charleroi-Sud Train station ".

Bus from Charleroi-Sud to Florennes
From the Charleroi train station, take the bus 137a to Mettet or 138b to Florennes (45 min.). The bus leaves from terminal 19.
Bus from Namur to Florennes
From the Namur train station, go to the bus station (100m from the train station). Take the bus 56 and stop at Florennes (45 min.).
Bus 61 Florennes-Mettet that stops in front of the Retreat Centre
The bus 61 stops right in front of the Retreat Centre. It is the line FlorennesMettet.
Unfortunately that bus does not run on the WE during the holidays.

The main bus stop in Florennes is +- 30 minutes walk from the Retreat Centre. If you are in Florennnes , give us a call and we'll find someone to pick you up (we do not pick up people in Mettet, Charleroi, Namur, or anywhere else).

A few days before the end of the course we will put up a paper on the board so that you can make arrangements to return to Brussels, Charleroi or Namur.

Some cars can take 4 people and some 8 people (the price is the same. You must ask for the bigger car if needed).
Make sure you mention the price is for the Retreat Centre in Florennes. You can email to arrange an appointment with them so that they pick you at the Brussels airport or the Charleroi airport (they need the arrival time, flight number, flight origin, number of people and a name to write on their board). They are based in Charleroi, so if you call from the Charleroi airport or the train station, the taxi will arrive within 5-10 minutes.
Taxi Claude (he is the only one who does local drives)
The driver is very friendly, and speaks a few words of English. Reservations by phone only, in French. He is based in Mettet (small city near the Retreat Centre).
He has only 1 car, up to 4 people.

If you book for Zaventem, he will wait you in front of Door C. (Porte C).

Ordinary taxi
- Charleroi airport to Retreat Centre in Florennes: the price is approximately by meter 80 euros for an ordinary taxi, but you may ask for a fixed price (you may ask for 50 euros).
- Namur train station to Retreat Centre in Florennes: the taxi costs +/- 45 euros for a 4 passengers taxi, or +/- 35 euros for a 3 passengers taxi.
